ABOUT ME

My name is Stewart Appleyard

(You guessed that, right?).

Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember.

I’m becoming more and more intrigued with it and find I have a constant longing to take less predictable images. Is it anyone’s aim to shoot predictable photographs after all? Not mine.

After every shoot, I ask myself if it’s good enough, maybe for a gallery or to have pride of place on someone’s wall? If so, I’ll be happy.

Feel free to check out my images and I hope you’ll find them refreshing and some even amusing (the horse).

I’m available for comissioned assignments with conventional camera work or drone photography so feel free to get in touch via the email link in the top or bottom right.

Thanks for looking.

This is me aged 4. Butter wouldn't melt would it? My great grandfather gave that camera to me in 1973 and I've been fascinated by them ever since.
My bank balance hasn't been too happy about it but, over the years, photography has kept a smile on my face.
